In early January we will announce the winners of our 2019 First Annual Birbie Awards!
Please help by NOMINATING and VOTING for candidates! There are four categories with a total six winners, because two awards are decided specific each to each to Facebook and Instagram:
- Most Inspirational Account (Facebook & Instagram separately)
- Best Animal Trainer (Facebook & Instagram separately)
- Best Aviculturist (breeder)
- The Citizenship Award
We need your help! Please NOMINATE accounts/individuals by messaging @BirbObserver (FB/Instagram), or @BObservr2 (Tw) or by emailing BirbObserver@gmail.com. PLEASE INCLUDE in your nomination a brief statement of your reasons for nominating that individual or account.
NOMINATIONS CLOSE DECEMBER 16, Midnight EST.
VOTING will open shortly thereafter for the two top categories: Most Inspirational and Best Animal Trainer. Best Aviculturist will be chosen from nomination statements by those BirbObserver Advisory Council members who are members of Organization of Professional Aviculturists (OPA). Citizenship Award will be selected from nominee statements by our editorial Board.
Winners receive an signature Birbie 2019 Trophy as well as a complimentary signature BirbObserver tee shirt. And, of course, all the well-deserved pride and joy that comes with recognition for a job well done!
