Tomorrow, February 2nd is World Wetlands Day. This year’s theme is Sustainable Urban Wetlands. Currently half the world’s population lives in urban settings, but by 2050 that figure will be 66 percent. Shrinking wetlands will not only have huge impacts on wildlife, but their decline also affects the livability of cities.
